    This contact form is used for general questions.  For adoption questions, please make sure to follow the checklist before inquiring about a dog on our rescue list.  An adoption application must be submitted prior to discussing, or answering a question about a dog you wish to adopt.  Thank you!

1.   An adoption application must be submitted before a call can be made to you to discuss any of the dogs. Thank you for understanding.  

2.   I understand that Shih Tzu and Precious Paws Rescue will not adopt out of the adoption area.  We adopt to areas within 40 miles of the Washington DC area. We also adopt within a 40 mile radius of the Baltimore and York, PA area.  We do not make exceptions, so please do not ask. Thank you for understanding.

3. Please understand that we cannot adopt any of our dogs to families that have a larger breed dog over 25 pounds.

4.  Please understand that we do not adopt any of the rescued dogs to families with children under 15. This is for SAFETY reasons. Thank you for your time and consideration.
