Sinead & Shawna are two small little girls (8 lbs. & 10 lbs.) who came to us from a puppymill that no longer had any use for them. 

They are very gentle and sweet - get along well with people and other small dogs. They both need daily eye drops for a common Shih Tzu condition called 'dry eye' to help lubricate.  Came from same litter and spent 8 years in a puppy mill.  9 years old now.  Very bonded

Sinead's Medical

Breast Cancer and Mass cell tumor.  Eats good and enjoys her guardians company. 

Needs to be let out every few hours to avoid accidents.  

Shawna's Medical

She is heartworm positive and being treated for it. She had 18 teeth pulled and broken jaw wired when she came int the rescue. Now, she eats nicely and loves to cuddle. 

Waverly was found by a VA rural shelter animal control officer circling round-and-round in the middle of a country road. She was in extremely poor condition - blind from several years of untreated dry eye, matted and filthy and overgrown toenails.   She was very scared, distressed, and had no idea where she was because she could not see. Since coming into the rescue, she has been cleaned up, her eyes look much better with daily medication, and she is learning her way around her foster mom's home. He is 10 to 14 years old and sleeps most of the time.

Waverly's Medical

He is blind and requires a daily pill and eye drops. 

Housetraining-  Needs to be let out every few hours.

Barks at new person in the house.  

Pookie's Medical

He is blind and needs eye meds twice a day. He also has skin allergies which require him to be bathed every 1-2 weeks.
